The NEW SERVER IS UP!

Hi everybody,

We just got our brand new server up, and the signal is working. As the server IP now is different, you need to download a new version of the Replicator from our website: http://pip-buster.com/2008/03/15/versions-for-ibfx-mini-accounts/

Download the zipped folder and replace the Ex4 file in your experts folder. You should remove the EA from the chart, then restart the platform and apply the EA to the chart again.

We also have updated the README file which includes some FAQs and solutions to some common errors. We also adjusted the EA, so it won’t interfere with manual trades or other EAs on your platform.

You will notice the EA settings are slightly different in this version. Please don’t change the data server IP in the settings unless we ask you to do so.

SERVER CRASH

ATTENTION EVERYBODY.

WE’VE HAD A SERVER CRASH. PLEASE TURN YOUR EA OFF AND CLOSE ALL OPEN POSITIONS (POSITIVE) UNTIL WE SOLVE THE PROBLEM.

P.S. Currently we were testing the application on a small web server, which took the server load quite high. We’ll be getting a high performance server (hopefully very shortly - currently working on this) which will support the load.

The GBPJPY Ride

Hi Guys,

The market will be opening soon.

Please play safe, do not increase the lots if your account cannot take the drawdown or you will lose it all.

I do stick to safe mode with 1 micro lot (10 cents) for accounts with less than 10K, above that I use normal mode with 1 mini lot ($1).

The GBPJPY is a rough ride, so be prepared to experience huge drawdowns, PIP-Buster handles the situation quite well.

As I said if the EA detects a reversal it will close all open trades, but a reversal with GBPJPY means hundreds of pips times the number of open trades. The reason to play safe with 1 micro lot (10 cents).
